China's Titanium Ore Import Situation in October
According to customs data, China imported 435,700 tons of titanium ore in October 2024, an increase of 85.64% year-on-year and 62.77% month-on-month, with an average monthly price of US$288.59/ton;
From January to October 2024, China imported a total of about 4.0217 million tons of titanium ore, an increase of 14.35% year-on-year, and the import volume increased by about 500,000 tons. Among them, the top three countries with the largest increase were Australia, Nigeria, and Egypt, with an increase of 320,000 tons, 160,000 tons, and 76,000 tons, respectively. The top three countries with the largest decrease were the United States, Vietnam, and Senegal.
In October 2024, China exported 9,973.92 tons of titanium ore, an increase of 799.52% year-on-year and 91.19% month-on-month; From January to October 2024, China exported a total of about 67,700 tons of titanium ore, an increase of 225.48% year-on-year, and the export volume increased by about 46,900 tons. Among them, the top three export countries are South Korea, Russia and India, accounting for 76.27%, 6.30% and 5.76% respectively.
