Titanium Dioxide Price Increase for the Third Time in the Year
On April 12, LOMON Group announced that according to the domestic and international titanium dioxide market situation, the company's price committee decided to increase the sales price of all types of titanium dioxide (including sulfate titanium dioxide and chloride titanium dioxide) by RMB 700 per tonne for domestic customers and US$100 per tonne for international customers from the original price.
In addition, more than ten titanium dioxide enterprises such as Huiyun Titanium Industry and CNNC Titanium have also indicated an increase in product prices, the price increase is basically the same as LOMON Group.
This is following the beginning of February and early March this year, titanium dioxide enterprises focus on price increases, the third price increase in the year. Industry insiders said that the round of titanium dioxide enterprises piled up prices, mainly due to titanium dioxide raw materials sulfuric acid and titanium ore prices rose significantly, companies want to release cost pressure by raising prices, coupled with the downstream real estate favorable policies frequently, further support the titanium dioxide prices rose market.
