R 868 is a general purpose rutile titanium dioxide produced by the sulphuric acid process, with a zirconium and aluminium coating and special inorganic treatment. It has stable chemical properties, good whiteness, good brightness, good gloss, high hiding power, high achromatic power, easy dispersion, good weatherability and resistance to chalking. It is suitable for industrial maintenance, machinery and transport surfaces, container coatings, architectural interior flat, semi-gloss and exterior surfaces, exterior industrial surfaces (where excellent durability is required), powder coatings.
