What is the Rutile Titanium Dioxide Calcination Pretreatment?
Rutile titanium dioxide requires the same pre-calcination treatment as anatase titanium dioxide, because rutile is more stable than anatase, and the application performance of the product is more demanding, only qualified pre-calcination treatment can ensure the optical stability and high gloss of the product. Adding rutile promoter and crystalline regulator to the calcined metatitanic acid before calcination makes the titanium dioxide crystals grow reasonably during calcination, completes the crystalline transformation at a lower temperature, also makes the calcined particles of moderate size and regular shape, prevents calcination sintering, oversized/overhard crystals or lattice deoxidation.
